Supplies:

Denim shirt
Scraps of fabric
Thread to match fabric
Wonder Under

Butterfly House Shirt

Iron Wonder Under on the wrong side of the fabric. Follow the manufacture's directions for ironing on the Wonder Under.

Trace pattern pieces on the Wonder Under and cut out all the pieces. Remove Wonder Under paper backing from all pieces. Position each piece on shirt with right side of the fabric up. Iron patterns on as directed for the Wonder Under.

Sew pieces on with a medium width tight zig zag stitch.

When you are done sewing the pieces on the sweatshirt, you are ready to start making the body and antennas on the butterflies.

For the butterfly house, you will need black thread and the largest width on your machine with a tight zig zag.

For the bodies of the butterfly, you will need a large tight zig zag and for the antenna's you will need a very small tight zig zag stitch.

This pattern is a little bit harder to make but well worth the effort. Happy Sewing!
